It wasn’t a war when you got married. It shouldn’t be a war (staged at great expense in a public courtroom) when you get divorced, but it is often treated as such, and the financial and emotional cost can be devastating.

- We assist in the creation and filing of all required court documents.
- As needed, we will refer each spouse to an attorney to review any settlement agreement before you sign it, to safeguard your rights with independent advice. If needed, we can also provide referrals to therapists, accountants, annuity experts, and other professionals as needed to streamline the process.
- The law requires a 6-month wait between filing for divorce and a final Decree. A contested divorce in court can take a lot longer than six months. But with a mediated approach, the process should generally be over within the six month time period.
